Assigning Images to a Training
If you have a digital camera in your PDA (or take a digital camera with you), Run.GPS can automatically assign the images to the correct track positions:
Run.GPS also provides you additional information about the image: geographic position, altitude, training distance and time at this position.
This is accomplished by comparing the creation timestamps of the images with the training times.
Howto
- shoot the photos with your internal or external digital camera
- put the files in the training folder (see Run.GPS File System to find out where it is) or click yes when the system asks you if your device shall be searched for images (when using the function Training >> Upload)
- use Run.GPS Analyzer to create a training analysis, which will list all your images marked with a sign at the corresponding positions in the track or upload the training session to the GPS-Sport Portal
Note: if you modify the images and then put them in the training folder, the timestamps will have changed and Run.GPS might not be able to find out the correct positions.
