The Control Bar
1 Main Screen
Opens a popup menu that let's you select the main screen.
2 Start/Stop
This button starts/stops the training session as if using a stopwatch. When the training is stopped, no data whatsoever are recorded.
3 Lock
Locks the application. All of the functions of Run.GPS are locked so you don't have to worry that recording stops when you're touching the panel.
The normal windows functions (start menu etc.) are not locked. If you want to lock those you must use the windows lock function (usually on the desktop).
You can decide if you want to have the hardware keys also locked when you use that function. See Keys Configuration.
When you want to unlock the application, just press the lock symbol again.
4 GPS Status
Shows the current GPS status.
GPS signal good
GPS signal unprecise
GPS signal bad (no fix)
GPS disconnected
When you press the button, you get to the GPS screen.
5 Backlight
If you activate the bulp, the backlight will be left turned on.
6 Context Menu
This is the place for individual context menus that can vary depending on the screen displayed.
7 Control Menu
Opens a menu with help, training management, waypoints and other settings.
Opens a menu in which you can choose from the following options:
- "About"-Screen, registration
- Documentation
- Training: new, save, load, upload
- Navigation: waypoints, routes, reset, back to origin
- Voice output: content of voice output and frequency
- Extras: map images, live tracking
