GPS

For the GPS device to get connected, you can use

• managed GPS: only available in Windows Mobile 5.0; has the advantage that no port names or baud rates have to be provided; in addition, several applications can get access to the GPS device at the same time; if available, this method should be preferred
• unmanaged GPS: this method makes use of a pseudo serial port (no matter if you have USB, Bluetooth or built-in GPS); you must know or find out about your port name and baud rate; for this you can also use the "detect" button or take a look in the below table

Changing from managed to unmanaged mode becomes only active when restarting the connection to the GPS device.

If you don't know your settings, first try "managed GPS". If that doesn't work, try "detect" (takes about 5 min) or search the Internet.

Once you found your correct settings, you should activate "re-connect", so GPS always starts when you start the program.
