GPS Screen
This screen shows the state of the GPS device and provides information about the current satellite configuration.
| Element | Explanation |
|---|
| Connect | Connect the GPS. |
| Disconnect | Disconnect the GPS device (for example if you want to save energy for your PDA). |
| Configure | Open the configuration dialog for the GPS settings. |
| Status | Current GPS state: good, weak or not connected. |
| Position | Position detected by the GPS device. |
| Satellites in View | The number of satellites that are seen by the GPS receiver. |
| Dilution | "Dilution of Precision (DOP)" This value expresses the exactitude of the current GPS signal. Ranges from 1 (very good) to about 20 (very bad). |
| Signal Strengths | The strengths of the signals coming from each satellite. |
