Importing Routes

You can use routes from various sources. See Routes Screen for more information.

Basically, two different file types are directly supported:

• KML (Google Earth)
• GPX (Topografix)

Use KML if you want to draw the path directly in Google Earth. Use GPX for all other cases. You can convert many different formats into GPX using Trackmaker or similar software.

In all cases you have to copy the routes into the folder "/My Documents/Run.GPS/routes" using an USB connection and ActiveSync. The folder "My Documents" might be named slightly different on your PDA.

GPS Trackmaker is a very recommendable piece of software. You can obtain it from http://www.gpstm.com. There is a free edition.
