Run.GPS 2.1.2: Video and Audio

Dear Athletes,

it's weekend time again and if you want to do sports, we have something for
you. Run.GPS release 2.1.2 is ready for download. Upgrading is as always
free and you can download from www.RunGPS.net or use the online update. 

Most exciting new feature: audio and video support for www.GPS-Sport.net 
uploads. Uploading audio and video files is now as simple as it already
has been with photos. It's now possible to geo-code (place on the right
spot on the map) photos, videos and audio files with the touch of a button.

Audio upload is mainly intended for the fast and easy annotation of
tracks: you simply record a voice note when you are near by an interesting 
spot - which then will be automatically assigned to that spot on the map. 
Hint: you cannot use WM6 notes for that, because the file format is not 
supported. If you don't have the proper software, try using 'KeepRecordin' 
(http://www.axyzmobile.com/products/keep-recordin) to record voice notes
in WAV file format.

Supported File Formats:

- Images: JPEG, PNG
- Video: MP4, MOV, MPEG, AVI, 3GP
- Audio: WAV, MP3

Besides that, the GPS-Sport.net portal has also been extended to support
the new multimedia file types.

In addition, we have implemented a feature requested by some of you: 
transmitting recorded trainings for use as 'virtual training partner' 
through  the download cart. No need to copy those files manually any more.

es ist Wochenende und die ersten warmen Sonnenstrahlen laden zum Sport ein.
Dafür haben wir gerade noch rechtzeitig eine neue Run.GPS-Version (2.1.2) für
euch zum Download bereitgestellt. Upgrade ist wie immer kostenlos und ist 
über den Download auf www.RunGPS.net möglich oder direkt per Online-Update.

Wichtigstes neues Feature: Audio- und Video-Unterstützung beim Upload auf 
www.GPS-Sport.net. Der Upload von Audiodateien und Videos ist damit genauso
einfach, wie es bisher schon mit dem Bild-Upload war. Auch hier erfolgt eine
automatische Geo-Codierung, d.h. die Videos, "Audios" und Bilder werden
automatisch an den richtigen Positionen auf der Landkarte platziert.

Die Audiofunktion ist hauptsächlich zum schnellen Dokumentieren von Tracks
gedacht: man erstellt einfach an wichtigen Stellen eine Sprachnotiz - diese
wird dann automatisch zugeordnet. Dazu noch ein Tipp: die Aufzeichnung über
WM6-Notizen ist nicht möglich, da ein nicht lesbares Dateiformat verwendet 
wird. Gegebenenfalls sollte man sich ein Programm wie 'KeepRecordin' besorgen
(http://www.axyzmobile.com/products/keep-recordin), um die Sprachnotizen
im WAV-Format abspeichern zu können.

Neben der Run.GPS-Erweiterung wurde auch das Portal GPS-Sport.net stark
aufgebohrt, um die neuen Multimedia-Dateitypen unterstützen zu können.

Außerdem wurde noch ein Benutzer-Wunsch realisiert: es ist ab sofort 
möglich, Trainingsaufzeichnungen für den "virtuellen Trainingspartner"
per Download-Warenkorb herunterzuladen, d.h. die Dateiübertragung entfällt.
