Dear Run.GPS and GPS-Sport.net users,

Run.GPS release 2.2.2 is ready for download from www.RunGPS.net. Updating is
as always free. 

2 translations
--------------

In addition to the English and German versions we are now happy to offer you
also French and Spanish releases. Program and voice output have been 
translated - the documentation is available in English and German.

OpenStreetMap upload
--------------------

OpenStreetMap.org is a great project - it's like Wikipedia but for maps and
not for knowledge. Everybody can participate and create maps for any part of
the world (or his surroundings). The good thing is that you also find smaller 
paths (e.g. mountain tracks) in OSM. 

To support OSM, we have decided to integrate the ability to upload tracks
directly from Run.GPS. If you want to add a street or path to OSM, you simply
walk that path while recording with Run.GPS  and then upload the track to OSM.
There it can be edited and completed with additional information.

Individual upload credentials
-----------------------------

Since users mostly have different user names on the GPS-Sport.net, GPSies.com
and OpenStreetMap.org portals, we have decided to make it possible to store
individual user names and passwords for these three portals (configuration >
user settings).

2 Übersetzungen
---------------

Zusätzlichen zur englischen und deutschen Sprachvariante können wir nun auch
französische und spanische Versionen anbieten. Programm und Sprachausgabe
wurden komplett übersetzt - die Dokumentation liegt auf Englisch und Deutsch
vor.

OpenStreetMap-Upload
--------------------

OpenStreetMap.org ist ein großartiges Projekt - eine Art Wikipedia für 
weltweite Karten. Jeder kann sich einbringen und einen Teil der Welt bzw.
seiner Umgebung kartografieren. Besonders interessant an OSM ist, dass auch
kleine Wege (z.B. Bergpfade) erfasst werden können. 

Um OSM zu unterstützen, haben wir uns entschlossen, einen direkten Upload in
Run.GPS zu integrieren. Um einen Pfad oder eine Straße in OSM einzupflegen,
folgt man dem Pfad mit Run.GPS und lädt die Aufzeichnung anschließend hoch.
Nach einer Bearbeitung kann der Pfad dann in die OSM-Karte übernommen werden.

Individuelle Upload-Authentifizierung
-------------------------------------

Da Benutzer wohl meistens auf den drei von Run.GPS unterstützten Portalen 
GPS-Sport.net, GPSies.com und OpenStreetMap.org unterschiedliche Benutzer-
Konten haben, haben wir uns entschlossen, eine individuelle Eingabe von
Benutzernamen und Passwörtern zu ermöglichen (Dialog Konfiguration >
Benutzereinstellungen).
