Privacy policy for Run.GPS App

This concerns the apps "Run.GPS Trainer UV Pro Trial", "Run.GPS Trainer UV Full", Run.GPS Trainer UV Pro Full", "Run.GPS Trainer Lite".
General information on data processing.
All personal data collected by the app remains exclusively on the user's device, unless an interaction with a portal is started in the app (e.g. creating an account, uploading training sessions and photos, sending a geo-position). It is therefore up to the user to decide whether to use the app locally or in interaction with a portal.
Location data
Location data is stored locally on the respective device when a training recording is started in the app. Optionally, location data can be uploaded to a portal such as www.gps-sport.net. However, this requires explicit user interaction. Location data is used to analyze the training session and display it on a map.
Optionally, the current user position can also be sent to the portal www.gps-sport.net via live tracking, but this requires explicit user approval.
Photos
If desired, photos can also be uploaded optionally when uploading training units. These are then visible to all users of the website by default. The visibility can be limited and the photos can be deleted at any time.
Sensor data
The user can optionally connect sensors (heart rate, step rate) to the Run.GPS app. If training sessions with connected sensor data are uploaded to a portal, the sensor data is included in the upload. The visibility of the training units can be restricted and they can be deleted by the user at any time.
Deleting data
To delete the data stored on the smartphone, it is sufficient to delete the app from the device (any backups created must also be deleted). If data has been uploaded to a portal and it is to be deleted, the privacy policy of gps-sport.net (below) or the respective portal can be consulted.

Personal data
Personal information is information that points to your identity: name, address, postal address, delivery address, telephone number and e-mail address. We store your personal data only to the extent necessary for the handling and processing of your order or necessary to send you our newsletter (if you register for it). With the exception of participating shipping and payment companies, we don´t share your personal information to any third party.
Privacy
On the website sport.net www.gps-sport.net geographic data uploaded by users is evaluated and displayed.
In principle, all users gain access to the following personal information:

• Profile data (if entered - optional)
• Your location
• Sports and health reports
• Heart rate data (if appropriate equipment is used)
• Navigation routes
• Geographical and sporting data from uploaded workouts
• Uploaded images, videos and audio recordings

By default, all data is public. Intentionally no personal data (such as gender) is acquired that is potentially problematic when combined with geographical data. All profile entries are optional. If desired, custom-uploaded data can be hidden from other users ("My GPS Sport>> settings>> privacy"). You location / whereabouts can also be hidden from other users.
Anonymous data
When visiting our web site, information about the access (date, time, page viewed) is stored on our server. These data are not personal data, they are anonymous. They will solely be used for statistical purposes.
Cookies
Certain pages use cookies, about which you are not informed separately. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies automatically. You can deactivate the storing of cookies or set your browser to notify you when cookies are being sent. The stored data is deleted when you leave our website.
