When I set frequency to never the program seems to revert to 30 sec occasionally

I am using V2.30 Build 1376 and I often go into the live tracking and set the interval to never. Then later I notice that the server has updated my location. I go to live tracking and it has reverted to 30 sec. I set it to never and again it will start tracking me. I can't seem to reliably control when live tracking is enable or not. I do check the save settings box every time too.
