Update
Has their been any news since this -"Still working hard on the iPhone version... HOPEFULLY in 2 months."
That was over 3 months ago, I am putting off buying an iPhone until this is released.
If it was released in conjunction with a facebook link in the portal, that would be nice :)
eta. my Windows mobile phone has finally given up and I have got an iPhone. Had to buy cyclemeter instead :(
I recenly moved from Windows mobile 6.1 to iPhone and would gladly purchase an iPhone version. I receive your newletter, so please let me, and many others like me, know when we can get your great app for the iPhone!

Would like to change from "Windows Mobile" to IPhone
Hi everybody,
I would like to change my old smartphone (windows mobile 5) for an IPhone... But I'm a runner .... When the 'run.gps' release for Iphone ?
I need it for running and cycling
Please an iphone version! If they're any issues with this I bet if you announce it you'll find people to solve them.
I wonder why I can't find you on twitter. I've seen a facebook account, but with no posts at all. It's not the best way to get public awareness, and gain more fans of your app.
You got really great app and please do something and do it quick :)
Hallo Zusammen
Yes your app is definitely the best I've ever seen, and I've tried a lot so far. Especially on the iPhone where I've tested more than 15 apps to find one I can live with. All the iPhone-apps so far have different problems that I did not see in the good old Run.GPS-days, where my old HTC Touch2 was alive.
All iPhone apps (apart from MotionX) seem to have trouble in setting the speed to zero, when you stop, and therefore also problems with automatic stop detection. MotionX uses accelerometer-assisted GPS and that works well so the speed measuring seems to be as accurate as in Run.GPS. Maybe you will have to do the same to get accurate stop-detection on the iPhone.
But unfortunately MotionX has other issues - I can't compete against previous races (= no motivation) and yourgreat turn-by-turn navigation have never been made in any other iPhone-app I've seen.
So Run.GPS could have a very bright future on the iPhone which at least in Europe is extremely popular.
You could really beat the market - and I would love to help in testing/commenting early versions.
Best regards,
Peter Schmidt (peter.schmidt@email.dk)
