Training plan - I don't get the value of doing it in rungps
I am contemplating upgrading from the regular version (which is the bee's knees!) to the pro version because I expected something along the lines of adidas mycoach, where you get a training plan which you follow and the actual training session is then linked to what you actually planned. The program tells you to slow down or speed up while running, and when the training is finished you can actually see the actual values in your training plan and compare them to what you originally planned out. It notices when you skip a training, etc...
So I loaded the trial version, created a training plan on the rungps portal, activated it, loaded it into the application and there it was. I can look at it, sync it with the calender/outlook and that`s it.
I really don't get the value of this...
I could just as well enter my training plan in outlook directly without the detour of using rungps, couldn't I? Am I missing something?
