GPS Dilution
The DOP Value indicates the GPS signal quality. A high DOP means bad or no GPS signal. So no GPS -> no speed.
But i have problems with the GPS signal quality aswell. Sometimes the DOP just jumps up to maximal value immediatly, so that the whole record gets worthless, as you can see here: http://www.gps-sport.net/trainingReports/SteffenK/trainings201011/101119_094109_756470/training.html
Im using an HTC 3G Jade.
I USe my own phone's GPS while USING Run GPS, with the FRWD-B hart rate monitor.
I am notice that sometimes, when the GPS dilution (DOP) goes up a lot, data such as speed and/or pace goes down extremely.
Please see my yesterdays running report/data, which is self explanatory on the graphics.
Does someone knows what maybe happening??
