But I can input training manually, which may not contain all the detailed data that the Run.GPS recordings have too. What's the difference with allowing manual training entry and importing data? I realize that the .GPX or .TCX files may not have all the information, but it certainly has more information than anything I could enter manually. Time, GPS data, HRM, etc. is what I want to import. I don't care if it doesn't have all the data that Run.GPS records.
I get it now, you want people to use/purchase Run.GPS in order to use the website. You don't want people to use other tracking software and get to use your website. I would think that even if you don't charge for using the website, you could get a lot more users if you allowed people to "bring" their data from other software or websites. The more users you have the more money you could make on advertising revenue. I am guessing that's why many of the other sports tracking websites allow you to import data from other sources.
I was hoping I could switch from my current system/website to yours, but I don't want to lose all my data. I guess I can export my data from Run.GPS and use another website to continue my tracking data.
I want to upload training data from another program.
I want to switch to Run.GPS, but I already have lots of .gpx training data. Can I upload those .gpx files to the Run.GPS training log or on the gps-sport.net website?
(I am not talking about uploading routes. I want to upload training data.)
Sorry if it's obvious, but I could not find that option.
