accidentally I have delete a view sport from te list. Now I get a question mark assigned as icon. Can I get the originals back? I have delete Walking and Bicking. Gr.Elvybarbar
It appears that my 'custom sport' entries are being logged. I believe what may have happened is that I changed the Sport designation during a training session - from one of my custom sport entries to a standard sport entry and only the standard sport (the one I changed to) showed up in the log. I guess I presumed that if I changed 'sports' during a training session (after selecting Stop and then Start for the new 'sport') both would appear as activities during the training session. Is this not how it works (i.e. can one include multiple sports into one training session)?
If not, this is a serious shortcoming in Run.GPS, as the vast majority of my (and many others) training sessions comprise multiple activities (e.g. elliptical trainer, stationary cycling, stairmaster, treadmill during gym cardio sessions).
Yes the custom sports do have some restrictions:
- they have only the question mark assigned as icon
- the calorie calculation model is "default sport"
It's not possible to change the icon for a custom sport.
If a custom sport does not appear in the reports, this would be a bug. Can you tell me exactly where it does NOT appear?
I'm confused about the custom sports feature support. It appears possible to create custom "Sports" in Run.GPS Trainer, but they don't seem to have the same features or characteristics as the built-in Sports. For instance, if I create a Sport called "Elliptical Trainer" (to track my time on elliptical trainers in the gym) I can select it as a sport activity, but it does not show up in the training reports. Another issue is that there is no apparent way of assigning icons to custom sports - even being able to use one of the built-in icons would be helpful (certainly, more helpful than the large "?" icon that appears by default.
Similarly, is it possible to edit an existing Sport such that it could serve as a new Sport? For instance, editing "Promenading" to "Elliptical Training"?
