I have same problem

In the new features section I asked for a remapping of the start stop button as I have similar problems as you. A less used button should be used since the main one is used for all sorts of functions and it is very easy to stop a recording unintentionally.

One other suggestion is to have the red light blink while recording. It may sound dumb but it is confusing to know if the red means it is actually recording or it is the recording button. Flashing red would make it much easier to know.

I'm using Run.GPS V2.07 to save the way and speed data. But in unkown new areas I use google maps mobile to navigate and to decide which way to go.

But whenever google maps mobile starts or stops with an error Run.GPS stops recording. This is realy annoying! I often loose track data when I don't realise it. I switched off the voice commands but in this case it would be great if RUN.GPS could give me the loudest warning possible to remind me something is wrong. Even better would be there is only one way to end recording and that is selecting the upper left start/stop button and nothing else.

Also I often get in trouble if I want to save battery power and want to enable the locked state, but from time to time I press the small recording button on the bottom left of the lock button. How to prevent this?
