I had similar problem yesterday after my 215k ultramarathon - fortunatelly my workout wasn't lost - my bug repport was send. It usually happen when I want to turn off app. I suppose It's memory problem - I had loaded detailed 200k navigation route and 215k of recorded trainning. Now before exiting app I make backup of current trainning folder.

Do you have enough free memory on your sd card? This is often the cause of such problems.

Is your SD card working well or does it have IO errors? You might consider moving Run.GPS data to internal memory (if possible on your device) or perhaps use a different SD card (if exchangable).

You may succeed in restoring your data if you try
- to delete the empty files and then load the training
or, if that does not work
- to copy a training.xml from another training directory into that directory and try to load the training.

Did you upload the crash report to Google Play?

You can send us crash reports directly after a crash occurs by using the free "SendLog" app from Google Play. This may help us a lot to avoid future crashes.

Porblem description

Yesterday after my training of 37km running had finished I turned off my phone to replace the battery. After turning on my phone again and starting run GPS I have received and error about training plan file including information "unexpected end of file", and run.gps started like first time after installation with language selection and info that my app is unregistered (I have got licence for UV-PRO version) and without my map configuration. But the main problem for me is that my last training is losted. I check files via file manager. And the folder with training exist and inside there is the file data.gpb of 1.2 MB size, but the others including training.quk and training.xml are of 0kb size.

1. Is it possible to restore my training and lost files from data.gpb and successfully upload to portal?
2. How to prevent this issue? Unfortunately I have faced it many times during long lasting trainings, competitions ultramarathon when usually after 15 hours of training I need to change my battery. When I want to start it again many times I receive the same error and last training and config is losted. The config is not a problem I prevent it by making backup of files, but how to prevent to lost my training. The solution is very important for me, my next ultra race is 195k of run and replacing the battery will be required. I don't want to lost part of this very important for me training.
