Sprachausgabe

Hallo,

Hi Dirk

you can use the "OK" button to minimize Run.GPS (not all devices have this button though).

Run.GPS sets the volume on startup as it had been on the last execution (you can change it in Main Menu > Voice Output).

Minimizing button

Hi all,
i often use a media player and RunGPS together. In my opinion RunGPS should not have any mediaplayer but the possibility to minimize to background or use half of the screen like some miniplayers or so. By now i put a taskmanager on one of the buttons of my xda.

another prob with my setup is the volume always goes on max when i start RunGPS after the mediaplayer (i use mortplayer) and hit my ears.

But apart from that: one of the best progs on my pda
thx a lot for that and looking forward to a version integrating the ANT miniSD-Card announced

Hi sivan

yes you're right - we now have added some more space between those buttons. Change will be included in the next service release (build 809 or greater). We cannot make them bigger, though, because there ain't too much space left :-(

But I think this change will make it a bit easier to operate the lock button etc. already.

very small icons on bottom of screen

Hi, first of all I want to say Thank you! for that excellent program. It helps me very much, I like it!
But I have problem with that small icons (start/stop, lock, light...). When I tip by finger usually I choice bad one and I stop routing or something else.
Is there a possibility to use a bit bigger icons or (better) to give possibilty for user to chice which one will be visible and where?
Thanks.

brain storming

first of all Hi to all the community, it is my first post.

I want to say that run.gps has changed my way of running and I am really happy with it!

Here are the things I think are missing on run.gps:

1. on my PPC I have a password and after a 5 minutes it locks the PDA. there should be a option to block the locking processes.

2. a built in media player, a very simple one just to be able to listen to music while running.

3. If I download a track onto my PPC and then quit run.gps the track is lost.

4. There should be a way to be able to choose from run.gps what RoutePlanner track I want to do.

5. there should be 2 ways to download the tracks: - the normal one (like now) and the map one with a Google maps view (it is just a .jpeg...).

6. there could be the border option, (max speed, min speed , max height min height etc... ) with a visual an sound alert if we cross the border

7.on gps-sport.net: the speed graph is not very precis (we can't really see our speed) it is to small and there are not enough numbers on the y axe.

8 on gps-sport.net: there should be a way to see a relation between point on the map and point on the speed graph.
or even better having the track on the map in different colors depending on speed (or height etc.)

I really love this program and hope it will become even grater.

sorry for my bad English.
