We've been thinking about a today screen plugin already too. It's on the list but not certain if it is going to be implemented. We must keep Run.GPS easy too use and whenever you add some module it gets more complicated :-)

Would also be cool if there was a Today Screen Plug-In that launches Run GPS into Record Mode on the Today screen of the PDA \ Mobile.

Maybe two Today Screen Plug-In Logging Only and Normal Record

Users could chooses which if any they want to appear in Settings --> Personal --> Today --> Items on their device

Logging Only Mode

I have only just started using Run GPS but love it.

I use run gps on my mobile phone which I leave in my back pack mainly because I cycle and my phone is a chunky brick (02 XDA MiniS), so never look at the screen. I was wondering if a logging only mode would seem of any use for example for me there is not need to keep updating the screen with stats or for voice output, I will then upload as normal when I get home. This could save on some battery etc.

Any use to anyone else?
