But for those who don't have a data flatrate a "Refresh" button for the selected map-area or for all OSM maps would be helpful, even if it takes some time to download the tiles.
Otherwise, after you have deleted the osm-Folder, you have to scroll your map area to all your preferred regions and download the maps manually, which takes even longer.
That's right, that way you'd lose all OpenStreetMap map tiles. But if you have, for example, the data flatrate from O2, everything will be reloaded on the fly when you need it.
I don't know if a refresh button would work because probably all map tiles are generated every night from the OpenStreetMap vector data so you wouldn't know what has to be reloaded from the timestamps.
But that way you would loose all data and it would take quite some time to reload all tracks.
I think it would be better to have a "Refresh" Button within the Application that verifies what needs to be refreshed.
How can I update the OSM maps with the newest versions from the OSM Server?
Since the map is still growing it would be nice to have the chance to update the downloaded maps with the newest ones from the OSM server.
