Hi,
If I remember correctly, it's for 2 or 3 hours...
I haven't forgot this project but I've too much work and it's the summer ;)
If some C# dev wants to make some corrections I've send the code too, it's on VS2005.
If not, I'll try to make a new release, but not before august...or September :(
Regards
Strange... You shouldn't be banned with a delay of 2000ms...
The ban is on your IP address, so if you have a dynamic IP, resetting your connection (stop/start or router reboot) should give you a new IP and allow you to go on.
thanks for the fast response. i used it without proxy and a delay of 2000ms. zoomlevel 13 and after one download i got banned from google.......
How long wil this bann remain?
any idea?

From what I could read, proxy functionnality doesn't work correctly... developper is aware of it...
You have to use with without proxy and set up a delay of 2000ms if you don't want to get blocked by Google...
From my experience, I also could see that it's very difficult to get maps with a higher zoom level than 13... I constantly got banned from google after downloading some parts... But zoom level 13 is already very good on a PDA and a too high zoom levels increases the loading time of RunGPS too much anyway...
I'm not sure I'm using it correctly, but from my understanding, the export from Google Earth requires to export jpg files on by one... This means that, if I'm gone for a 40km journey, I have the choice to either export the full map for this journey, but with very few details, or export smaller jpeg files one by one, which may take a lot of time if you want to get minimum details...
Wouldn't be possible to find a way to import all "blocs" from google earth into RUN GPS, with a certain level of detail, without having to zoom in and out into google earth and create 10th of jpeg files? I'm thinking of something similar to what is done with OpenstreetMap...
I personnally don't care if it can't be done directly under RunGPS. Connecting to my PC and launching some script which would create all jpeg that I then can transfer is also ok for me...
