Hi Slogfester,

well it wasn't our intention to steal your identity - it's simply that yesterday there was a problem updating to a new release of the web server software we're using. Therefore, we had to reproduce your comment as user 'anonymous'.

Maybe it's just a simple problem e.g. the suffix is 'JPEG' instead of 'jpg' or something like that. If you want you can post a zip archive of the training folder to support@rungps.net and we will look it over.

Regards

robert

For some reason yesterday I was anonymous, today I'm Slogfester!

My system does not upload *all* pictures in the appropriate training folder (without scanning). That is why I asked the Q. Like I said, as well as placing them in the appropriate training folder, I even manually mades sure the modified/additional pictures had the correct date/time stamp. But STILL only the original pictures were uploaded (or appear in reports generated by Analyser).
Is it just my system or do others get this?

Thanks

Run.GPS looks for the creation date of the files, which must be >= training start time and <= training stop time. Maybe the timestamps where changed when copying with ActiveSync.

There's a better way to do this: copy the modified pictures into the 'training folder' (see http://www.rungps.net/Wiki.jsp?page=DocAssigningImagesToATrainingEN), then upload but *without* scanning for images. The images in the training folder are *always* uploaded no matter what timestamp.

uploading pictures

In the absence of a facility to add notes to pictures (along a route), I added some in the picture using Paint. But...

What exactly does Run.GPS sport do to read the date/time stamp of a picture to be uploaded? I manually edited some pictures (using Paint) on my PC and then changed their Created/Modified/Accessed date/time back to their original date/time before placing them back in the appropriate training directory. This didn't work, so I even made sure that the embedded EXIF date/time in the jpg files was correct. But still Run.GPS wouldn't find and upload. It only found the originals?

How do I do this?
