calorie consumption also depends on personal parameters such as weight. The heavier you are the more calories you'll burn ... This of course makes it easy to cheat - but I don't think we have cheaters here.
The calories on the training page and in the training report may be different if the user changes the sport in the portal (after uploading). In this case, the report would not be changed (static HTML page). We will improve this behaviour in a later portal release.

Calories Burning count
hi
I was wondering how are calories count with run-gps, i have seen some weird thing in the hall of fame looking at others people`s ride (when you click on their calender). Here`s an example of ride 1:
Distance: 61.14 km (37.99 mi)
Duration: 0.03:07:30
Active Time: 0.03:02:59
Total Average Speed: 19.56 km/h (12.16 mph)
Active Average Speed: 20.05 km/h (12.46 mph)
Calories: 1922 kcal
Min Altitude: -11 m (-38 ft)
Max Altitude: 95 m (314 ft)
Ascent: 331 m (1086 ft)
Descent: 314 m (1032 ft)
ok now here is my ride:
Distance: 76.64 km (47.62 mi)
Duration: 0.04:48:18
Active Time: 0.03:34:57
Total Average Speed: 15.95 km/h (9.91 mph)
Active Average Speed: 21.39 km/h (13.29 mph)
Calories: 1822 kcal
Min Altitude: 139 m (458 ft)
Max Altitude: 387 m (1270 ft)
Ascent: 534 m (1754 ft)
Descent: 540 m (1774 ft)
how in the hell ride 1 gets a 1922 calories with 61km and mine gets 1822 calories with almost 77km ??? I got more mileage, a bit more speed and more ascent !!The only difference is Total Average Speed, is that enough to explain the difference ? Can somebody explain this to me ??
thank you
Update: I investigate the Training Analysis for ride one and it shows:...Your training consumed about 1585 kcal. ..and mine shows: Your training consumed about 1996 kcal....this is weird...I don`t know witch numbers the hall of fame is taking ?
