Back home in Switzerland. Just a quick follow up from this.

All pictures/video uploaded fine as soon as I got home! Didn't change a thing on PDA. I'm puzzled. I have succesfully uploaded pics from a number of European countries.

In Oz I tried everything you suggested Tom and more. Tried through various wifi networks, including ultra wide band University link. Reduced picture size etc. Nothing.

Some reasons I could think of:

- low bandwidth
- HTTP uploads are limited in size (some firewalls do this, also some cell network operators)
- not enough free memory on SD card (you need about the size of your pictures in free memory when uploading because an archive is created first)
- not enough free main memory (program needs some memory to do the actual work when uploading)

Hi Tom,
I'm DownUnder (home sweet home) and I know they've only just got electricity ;) but their internet is fine and I'm using a wifi link. I'll try reducing size of pics manually before uploading. Any more ideas? Thanks.

Could this be because of low bandwidth? Before the progress bar reaches the point you're speaking about, the images are put in an archive. Actual transmission of data only starts at this point. So if you have a GPRS or similar connection, this would explain the behaviour. The progress bar seems to stop, which means that it takes very long time to upload.

I am overseas and still using 2.2.6 1155
For some reason I can not upload pictures. Used to work fine. I have tried scanning and putting pics in to the training subdirectory. In all cases, the upload bar reaches about half way before stopping and locking up the program. I can not get WM6.0 task manger to close run.gps, and hence end up rebooting pda. Upload without pics is fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks
