What you can try to improve the track is:
- place the GPS so it has a good view to the sky (no obstacles)
- always use the latest version of Run.GPS
- a max DOP of 7.5 is usually ideal, but you can try going lower (might help, depending on your device)
- you may try putting the device on the ground for some minutes before you start
Sorry, the HRM belt is STILL not available for Europe ... we'll send a newsletter when it is.
Hallo again,
I´m still very satisfied with Run GPS! great! When I look on track on the map it seems not to follow "my exact track". sometimes it will just go from one point to another in a straight line instead of the acyual path. I changed the DOP to 7,5 and it got better. Should I go down on DOP even further to improve the quality or will it be any other problems? Sorry for the "noob" Q.......
Any news about HRM belt?
Thanks
Thomas
Thank you for the answer, too bad with the Nokia thou.....manual entry is not an option for me.
Looking forward to order a HRM belt....would be nice on the tenniscourt and gym. hope the range is good enough to put the phone on a bench while playing....
It's not possible to import the files from SportsTracker, I'm afraid ...
You could import the tracks in gps-sport.net (upload routes), but that's a lot of work.
You could also enter the trainings manually, but that's also too much work.
Regarding pictures: we did not add any ball sports because GPS is not used often for these sports. But now with the Heart Rate sensor it might make more sense to add new ones.
HRM: see manual on www.rungps.net. Will be available soon (end of Jenuary).
Hi! I am a new user of RunGPS. So far so good!. It works/looks wonderful of my touch HD. Some questions....
Last year I used Nokia sportstracker and I want my 115 trainings to be integrated with my Run GPS program. Is it possible?
And two minor Q´s:
Those small pictures, (showing up in your monthly perf.) for biking , running etc.. can´t find any for tennis. Just a ?.
Heart rate belts working with program? Anyone knows when they are possible to buy?
