Another vote! I have also requested this before. When adding a manual training, users should be able to import from .gpx or other popular format, which would not only fill in some of the data, but have a gps track associated without having to fill up the route planner with routes used only for uploading.
If I understand correcty there is currently no way to upload a datalogger log file as training? I have just ordered one (longer battery time) and was hoping to upload the logs files from it as trainings with all the info like total/active speed and type of sport.
No, You understand it right - You can't create training basing on gpx track. I would like such feature too, because during long trekkings I use data logger in GPS rather than PDA (battery issue).
Suggestion for Run.GPS team - if it's matter of creating "big" trainings on server by users which didn't buy software, then add ability to import gpx in PDA software itself.
Hi !
I'm not sure I understand : i've got the same problem than MirandaK (adding GPX tracks in my trainings)
When your GPX track are uploaded in GPSies, it seems to me that they become routes too.
And I haven't find any way to put / transfert GPSies content in GPS-Sport trainings or in the run.gps software...
I wanted to upload a .GPX file to add to my trainings, but that is not possible. (it only can be added to 'my routes') Can it be only done manually? Anyone has a solution?
And, where can I find an option to set a training or a route to 'private' instead of 'public'
