Hi salsafrancis,
that´s a common issue if you use a htc diamond. I also faced this problem.
Go to "Menu" - "Configuration" - "GPS Configuration" and uncheck "Windows managed". After that, it should work properly.
Greetings from Germany,

hallo tejot I post here because i realiza you use run gps with htc diamond. On mi diamond I never was able to get altitude from the gps. Everything else works but nothing which has to do with "altitude". And I use rungps to go biking in the mountains. I tried rungps 2.4.6 and now I've installed 3.2. is it possible that i'm the only one to have this problem with altitude. Is'a pity because this is a nice software.
Thanks in advance

rotations caused application closeing problem
Hi,
I used to have a problem with RunGps application. Sometimes, without reason (in my humble opinion of course) application close with feedback "Out of memory" Not enough free memory - Nicht genugend freier Hauptspeicher", like below.
It was quite strange for me, becose I was very carefully with memory usage - no others application in run, no smses, conetion incomeing etc., plus even some applications cleaning ram (oxios and cleanRam). Effect - more than 30mb ram free. And this problem still sometimes occur.
I've decided to check it very carefully and I thing I got it! Screen rotation program caused problem - I've noticed that if I take phone in my hand and started to rotation it (vertical and horizontal with few secounds gap all around) afther about 1 minute application crash like I've described above. Of cours I've got rotation application instaled in my htc diamond wiht makes screen rotation depends on how phones is oriented.
There are some solution of this problem I've figured out:
- uninstall additional screen rotating application
- define exeption (if possible, depends on application) in such application for runGps
- run runGps program in backgound (not on 'the top'), for example switch to today screen
I hope You'll find my description usefull, also it could be a hint for programer for correction in next release.
Greetings for all gpsRun users, especially from Poland! ;-)
