Well yes the program simply computes the distance from the starting point to the nearest known location. Problem is that we don't have a classification of locations yet. This is due to the database we currently use.

We will switch to a better database at a later time.

better recognition of the geographic extension of a city

Hi, I found out that GPS-sport doesn't properly analyses the location of the training. It seems that it only recognizes the distance from the "center point" of the city but does really ignore that the city has a certain area!
In my example I always go jogging in Wolfsburg / Germany (and you can believe me that I don't see the edge of town nor even leave the town), but GPS-Sport prefers to say "Jogging near Kaestorf" (Well I know a lot of people that would agree that Wolfsburg is not a city and that Kästorf is more important, but I think the program should be free of subjective thoughts) ;P
Would it be a big problem to recognize in which town a given trackpoint (or whole track) is situated?
Kind regards, SteHer
